New European Bauhaus Festival 2026 reminded us that innovation doesn’t happen in isolation—it grows through collaboration, shared ambition, and a common vision for a more sustainable future.

Representing BioFashionTech, our CEO & Founder Dr. Fabiola Polli joined fellow entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and ecosystem leaders at the NEB Innovation Arena, where start-ups showcased solutions addressing some of Europe’s most pressing environmental challenges.

It was inspiring to see ventures from the Catalyse NEB cohort demonstrating how innovation can transform waste into valuable resources, rethink materials, strengthen communities, and accelerate the transition towards a regenerative economy.

Being part of this community reinforces why collaboration across sectors is essential. Together, we are proving that sustainability can scale while creating solutions that are innovative, inclusive, and economically viable.

Congratulations to Äerd Lab and Vienna Textile Lab on winning the audience vote, and to all the inspiring ventures in this year’s Catalyse NEB cohort. We are proud to be building this journey alongside such an exceptional community.

A heartfelt thank you to EIT Community New European Bauhaus, EIT – European Institute of Innovation and Technology, and everyone who made this inspiring programme possible, especially Thomas Park, Anna Arató, Catherine Breyssens, Tatiana Sao Chan Cheong, Maria Marrugat, and Leon Roos, for bringing together a community committed to shaping Europe’s regenerative future.
